Official Amphi Camp - Jugendpark Cologne

Seated in the beautiful Jugendpark of Cologne, you will be able to set-up your camps within walking distance of the festival ground. You will not only find places for your tents there, but also a service building with restrooms, including toilets, shower cabins and basins as well. Also the camping ground will be expanded to offer more space and you will get the opportunity to buy additional food and drinks in case your supplies are running low.

Important: Due to organizational and environmental aspects, motorized vehicles (including camper vans) are not allowed to enter the camping ground.

Access / Tickets:

Access to the official Amphi camp is not included in the festival ticket! To access the camping ground it is necessary to obtain a separate camping ticket. Camping tickets are sold per person and only valid for the official camp at the Jugendpark Cologne, Sachsenbergstraße, 51063 Köln. Camping Tickets are available exclusively in the Amphi Ticketshop for 18,00 € plus charges.

Journey / Check-in:

Please hold your camping- and festivaltickets ready at the check-in. Owners of campingtickets in combination with Amphi Festival weekend- or daytickets will receive their camping- and festival wristband both at the entrance. Without a campingticket the festival wristband cannot be handed out here!

The entrance to the Amphi-Camp can be reached by crossing the “Hafendammbrücke” located at the Hafenstrasse. In addition to that we will open a special gate at the back end of the Tanzbrunnen for all campers, for you can access the festival ground directly, without detours. You´ll find the exact location of the back entrance on this map:

Journey by public transfer:

Please take buslane 150 from station “Deutz/Messe Köln” to „Thermalbad“. Follow the guidance signs from here on foot. Actual public transfer timetables can be found on this website: http://www.kvb-koeln.de/german/fahrplan/aushangfahrplaene6.html.

Important: the route to the check-in will lead you sideways along the Jugendpark´s main gate. Do not enter here yet. Follow the road straight ahead onto the damway. It will lead you to a marked stairway, only a few meters from the check-in gate. After you´ve received your camping- an festival-wristband, the mentioned main gate can be used as regular entrance!

The check-in will be open throughout the following times:

From Friday 23.07.2010, 16:00 o'clock
till Saturday 24.07.2010, 22:00 o'clock
On Sunday 25.07.2010 from 07:00 o'clock till 18:00 o'clock.

Important note on buying camping tickets

Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are only allowed to access the official Amphi Festival camping ground in company of their parents or a full aged person (of at least 18 years of age), entitled with a parental authority which has to be transferred by a youth protection agreement. This agreement has to be carried along at all times during the event.
