Official Amphi Camp - Jugendpark Cologne

Seated in the beautiful Jugendpark of Cologne, you will be able to set-up your camps within walking distance of the festival ground. You will not only find places for your tents there, but also a service building with restrooms, including toilets, shower cabins and basins as well. Also the camping ground will be expanded to offer more space and you will get the opportunity to buy additional food (like e.g. breakfast and barbecue dishes) and drinks like coffee, beer, mead, mixed- and alcohol free drinks, offered at fair prices.

Due to organizational and environmental aspects, motorized vehicles (including camper vans) are not allowed to enter the camping ground.

Admission / Tickets

Access to the official Amphi camp is not included in the festival ticket! To access the camping ground it is necessary to obtain a separate camping ticket. Camping tickets are fully booked. People without camping ticket(s) will not gain access to the Amphi Festival camping ground!

Entering the Tanzbrunnen

For visitors with Amphi Festival wristband we will open a second entrance at the rear end of the Tanzbrunnen. When approaching from the „Jugendpark“, you will be able to access the venue without detours. For the location of the back entrance please check the map above.

Journey by public transfer

Please take buslane 150 from station “Deutz/Messe Köln” to „Thermalbad“. Follow the trailsigns from here on foot. Actual public transfer timetables can be found on this website: http://www.kvb-koeln.de/german/fahrplan/aushangfahrplaene6.html.

Youth protection note

Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are only allowed to access the official Amphi Festival camping ground in company of their parents or a full aged person (of at least 18 years of age), entitled with a parental authority which has to be transferred by a youth protection agreement. This agreement has to be carried along at all times during the event.

Waste disposal on the camping ground:

After your arrival at the camping ground you´ll receive waste-bags at the check-in for free. Also we provide various trash barrels all over the area and a large container for your filled waste-bags. After the Amphi Camp 2011 we noticed an increased amount of garbage left on the ground. In order to avoid the introduction of a general waste-deposit we ask all participants of the Amphi Camp to use of the provided waste-disposal vessels.
