After touring for 15 years with the Band Camouflage all over the world, Jochen Schmalbach, Marcus Meyn and Volker Hinkel decided, that it was time for the 3 of them, to create their own project.

To set no boundaries they decided, that the creative flow should encourage everything, the 3 characters will bring to the game. So now you have a mixture of past, presence and future,
Electronic Music meets Oasis, Minimalism mixed with Epic Songstructures, Kraftwerk combined with the Sex Pistols. To complete the group, Jakob Nebel was the last one, to join the team with his musicality and experience and the band started to write new songs. The result is a mix of dark electronics and guitars to create a mix of Electro-Wave, Goth, Pop and Punk.

What is the meaning of M.I.N.E? The name comes from the singers name Marcus Meyn, but also to
unify the musical adventure of the 4 individuals.
